Communication is my passion! I strive to convey not only the words people say, but the sentiment behind it, helping transcend culture and nationality. My wish is to help people connect on a deeper level, truly understand each other and come together as a family!
My Story
Every language is a world in itself.
Each one comes along with its own
beliefs, humour and expressions of love.
I learned this from an early age, being born
in Russia, having emigrated to Germany and
having spent my childhood between the two countries.
My school education was mainly in English,
which made me trilingual
and opened up the door to other worlds.
Every culture has its own quirks and peculiarities.
Whenever I moved to a new country,
I tried to dive deep into the culture and learn all about it.
After having graduated from UCL
in London, where I studied Languages,
I moved to Milan to study Design.
In the 5 years that I lived there,
I fell in love with the Italian culture
and soaked up everything I could,
surrounding myself with local friends
and learning about their customs,
world views and passion for cooking!
And now I am back in Germany, living in Berlin
where I met the love of my life
and we live happily ever after...
How it all began...
I have always been intrigued by languages and communication. I loved translating films and conversations for my family and friends and they made me realise that I had a talent for it.
I started to get asked to translate speeches at weddings of friends and family. It was so rewarding to see people able to connect and find closeness with their new family members!
Having studied languages my whole life,
it was a logical step to turn my passion into my profession!
